Your Character:

Name: Melekesh
Class: Demon Hunter
Armory link: http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/frostmane/Melekesh/simple
UI Screenshots (1 while in combat as well): https://gyazo.com/c3798079089e8870ae69ee1b506ca9cd

Give us an explanation for your gear choices, including why you prioritize certain stats: Going mostly for crit vers although this can change when they get high, i always sim the stat weights to see how this changes, as simcraft is relativly accurate for demon hunters, the crit is good because of chaos strikes ability to refund fury upon crits.

Do you have any logs from your recent raids?

Personal information:
I used to play starcraft II on a very high lvl as an e-sport, this experience i belive gives me an edge on others in wow as i use the same mindset of optimizing, preparing and strive for improvement as i used to get good at starcraft while practising with the only goal being to win.
I used to play for and manage the starcraft II section of Norways biggest e-sport organization (BX3), this experience also helps in terms of teamwork and working within the envirement of a serious guild.

Here is some information about my SCII career: http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/KinG#Biography

Age: 23
Country: Norway
Do you have any upcoming events or plans that will make you unavailable for a long period of time (such as holidays/exams, etc)? No.

Meeting the requirements:

What is your normal latency(ms) and FPS during raids? (Ideally give us the specs of your PC).
Perfectly stabile internett: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/5743345161
Top-dollar pc, never got problems that are not related to game bugs or stuff on blizzards side.

Can you raid on all of our raid days (Wednesday, Sunday, Monday)? Yes.

Do you have Mumble/Teamspeak/Ventrilo installed and are you willing to speak? Yes.

Your Raiding Background: I've done most of what there is to do in wow when relevant, with the exception of warlords.
Most notably before legion was my raiding with a guild in wrath where we cleared most of the heroic content as top 3 on the server (ICC)

Please give a brief overview of your guild history and what is the reason for leaving your current/last guild?

Elysium, swedish semi-hardcore guild, played a DK class leader untill the guild disbanded
BMC, hardcore competitive guild, was rank 1 on the server back then, this guild inevitably disbanded aswell, both these guilds i played with in wrath.

Reunion, my current guild on frostmane.

Reason i'm leaving this guild is because i am dissapointed in the average learning curve and work put in by the players in the guild, as a long time competitive gamer playing at the highest level of both counter strike and starcraft my learning curve and dedication to games is way above average and i would like to play with a guild where i feel i am with equals both in terms of the work they put in and the professionalism they present, neither which is present in my current guild.
I want a guild where the level is high eanough for me to get motivation to push for perfect gameplay and consistency every raid, which i do not have in this guild.
Another issue with this guild is that they raid up to 6 times a week while still not progressing very fast, which i feel is a waste of time since this is just throwing exstra days at the bosses to compensate for low preformance.

What is your raiding experience? (starting with the most recent Tier(s))

With my current guild i am 4/7M, and did servers first Xavius HC, in warlords i didnt play and the experience from wrath i mentioned above, the experience before this i dont belive is very relevant anymore.

What websites/resources do you use to keep yourself updated on the game and your class?
Discord dh channel and simcraft is where i draw most of my info, aswell as wowhead in terms of updates, other then that i generally scout for pieces of info i can find everywhere on the internett.

What do you expect from us?

What i am looking for is a guild where the management presents some level of professionalism and without in any way abusing their possition, players with a good learning curve that wont need a billion tries to learn simple mechanics, and an envirement where the raiding is actually enjoyed, i am not interessted in a raid-envirement of negative, condesending or arrogant people, as enjoyment is an equal priority to preformance for me in this game, and compared to my previous gaming adventures i do not want to treat world of warcraft as a job like i did with starcraft and counter strike.

Do you know anyone in the guild, if yes who?

No, i do not.

Where did you hear about us? (WoW Progress, MMO Champion etc.)

Wowprogress.

Lastly, is there anything else you'd like to mention?

I have complete flexibility in my schedule and will almost never have to miss a raid, aswell as having alot of spare time that is spent on my passion with gaming, i always push for improvement and optimize everything that can be optimized in every situation, i can garuantee high-lvl play, dedication and a good learning curve.

Hi Melekesh,

Thanks for your application, we currently have two Demon Hunters on the roster and there'd be no added value in a third which we'd need to catch up on progress. If you'd like further feedback on this decision, feel free to whisper me ingame this evening.

Good luck in your search.
